Next, do a deep clean of your home, washing your floorboards, walls, ceilings, bathroom tiles, carpets, and kitchen cabinets. Dust and wipe down all countertops and shelves.
Put away family portraits, religious items, and other personal keepsakes. If there is too much personalization in a house, it can make it more difficult for potential buyers to connect with it.

Chipped paint can easily be fixed with a quick fresh coat. You may even choose to replace old lighting fixtures if they are faulty or outdated. If you have loose tiles or door handles, repair those too.

Boosting your curb appeal can bring in more potential buyers at a quicker rate, which you’re probably looking for if you are trying to sell your house fast. This doesn’t have to take up too much time or money, either.
Consider power washing the exterior of your home. Often, this can give it a brand new look, instead of having to paint it.
Wash your windows, take care of your flower beds, mow the lawn, and remove any weeds.
Dust off your mailbox and get rid of any spiderwebs or debris. You want potential buyers to care about your home, so start off by showing that you care about it too.
Finding the right real estate agent is key if you want to sell your house faster than the average person. They will know the current local housing market, and they’ll be with you through the entire process.
Keep in mind that real estate agents take a percentage of the selling price, which is usually between 2-4%.
If you want to ensure that you find a reputable agent, take a look at their sales record. This will tell you how successful they have been in the past, and how consistent they are.
You can also look for customer testimonials and reviews. You want to find an agent that will make selling your house a top priority and has the background to back it up.
If you would prefer to make a house sale without hiring a real estate agent, you may choose to sell your house as is. This will also prevent you from having to do repairs or any other preparation for the sale.
With this, you sell your house to a company or individual that will buy it in cash for the state that it is currently in. This relieves you from any obligation to fix or clean any part of the house, regardless of what is found later on during any inspections.
This option is pretty immediate, allowing you to sell your house as quickly as possible. However, because of this, the price is often a bit lower than you would see if you would go for the route of repairs and real estate agents.
