6 Outward Signs Of Success That Nobody Talks About

If you want to be your most successful, then you will appreciate learning these 6 outward signs of success that nobody talks about!

Success is something that flows both inwardly and outwardly. On the inside, it’s your subjective experience of the world. It’s feeling happy in your skin and knowing that you can be blissful, regardless of what’s happening in the outside world.

On the outside, however, there are other signs of success (or that you’re going to be successful). These are things that the people around you can detect and actually measure, unlike your subjective experience.

So what are these signs of success?

And what do they mean?

As you might know, I’m a bestselling author, award winning designer and happiness researcher. I wrote a book called Happy Habits.

In my research, I learned a lot about how to make sure you develop positive habits which lead to your best life – by embracing specific principles of “habit formation.”

In this article I will be sharing some of the main specific habits – and signs of success – that nobody talks about!

6 Outward Signs Of Success That Nobody Talks About

Let’s take a look below at the key signs of success that represent you’re going to do well in life.

1. You Have Tremendous Self-Motivation

All through life, other people feel the need to motivate us. Our parents and teachers in particular whip us into shape, telling us that we have to work hard.

But there’s a problem with this approach: You can only force yourself to do something you don’t want to do for so long.(That’s why diets don’t work). The only sustainable solution is to find motivation from within. That’s the sort of thing that can keep you going for months, if not years!

2. You Love Seeing Other People Become Successful

Here’s a sign of another truly successful person: they celebrate the success of others. It’s interesting: once you achieve the pinnacles of success, you don’t want to maintain a moat around your status. Instead, you want to invite as many people to stand on the summit as possible. There’s no jealousy in your heart. An experience shared is better than one spent alone.

3. You Indulge Your Passions

Ultra-successful people aren’t afraid to indulge their passions, whether it is buying a watch, like the Aquanaut 5164 at WatchBox, or going for a cruise to a far-flung destination, like Nepal. Whatever it is, they accept that life is a process of moving towards joy. So they find what makes them joyful and they strive towards it.

4. You Always Adapt To Change

Few things in the world stay the same for long. Life today is almost entirely different from how it was even a decade ago, let alone fifty years ago. Successful people don’t view change as a bad thing. Instead, they embrace it, learning to love the uncertainty and novelty that it brings.

5. You Rarely Complain

Many people go through life complaining about their situations and circumstances and focusing on things that make them feel stressed. They blame their lack of happiness on everything that they can think of. Everyone has a story they tell themselves. Except, of course, successful people. They look at what they have and are grateful for it. They then use it as a base to build successful enterprises that generate massive returns.

6. You Look For Ways To Help Others

The most successful people often seem like inexhaustible mines. No matter how much they give, they can keep on giving. There is no end to their wealth. This attitude comes from the fact that they aren’t clinging to anything. It doesn’t matter if they give and give because they know that it will all eventually come back around. They’re able to draw on non-physical motivations all the time, not worrying about scarce resources like time or money.
