We all get to a point in our lives where we hit that brick wall. The point where we feel like we have issues to tackle, or can no longer cope with current circumstances or situations.
We all have these points in our lives, and they happen at varying times – and sometimes more than once.
It gets to the point where you need to take control of your life. And there are many areas and ways you can do this.
I believe it’s never too late to get your shit together.
And never too late to make a dream come true!
I had my miracle baby at age 50.
Plus I become an online entrepreneur of video courses in my 40’s.
I’m excited to see what my 60’s will bring!
With all this in mind, maybe it is time for YOU to start taking control of your life.
Here are some of the things that you could start to explore – today.
Look at your career choices
Many of us spend a good chunk of our time working in some sort of career. It might be something you have studied hard for and done for many years. Or you simply could have fallen into your career by happenstance.
But perhaps at this point you’re reconsidering your career choice – and wondering whether you are in the right sort of working environment.
Each of us spend so much time working. As a result, it is important to at least enjoy or gain some sort of happiness from the job we do.
Thankfully, it’s possible to change your career – at any age or stage in your life.
With this in mind, maybe you need to think about attaining new skills. Online marketing is a growing and often lucrative and fun career. If you want to pursue an online focused job, you might want to learn a range of different software – such as adobe. If so, look at adobe connect pricing and explore how you can find a job which is creative and rewarding. And if you want support to move forward with an online business, I’d love to help you – with my 1-on-1 business coaching!
Think about your financial situation
Your finances can often be what causes you to feel claustrophobic. You can start to feel limited in what you can do – based on what you can afford. Struggling with money issues brings up all kinds of emotions – including anxiety and depression.
But if you find that your budgets are busting your behind – then you need to perk up and take action – before things spiral out of control.
Keep a money journal for the next month. Become aware of where your money is being spent – and at what is causing you the most harm with your finances. Then take some steps to resolving your issues. Cut back on ordering up food delivery. Spend less money on clothes. See if you can replace expensive items with less expensive items.
It you have issues with your credit and debt – then approach the companies and see if you can get a fee reduction or payment plan.
Take care of your mindset
Your mindset can cause you real pain.
A negative thought process can lead to negative habits – which only winds up compounding the negativity.
So it might be worth taking some time to reconsider the way you think and proactively become more positive in general.

Work on your current lifestyle
Finally, maybe your lifestyle, in general, could do with an overhaul.
Perhaps you want to improve your diet or become more physically active.
Or maybe you want to learn to cook and invite friends over for socializing more often.
These things specifically just require you to make the decision to change – then create a game plan.
In my book Happy Habits I list a range of lifestyle habits which are researched to bring you the most joy, love, success and good health. Plus I give “habit formation” tips – to make sure these good habits stick.
Great news: Once you make one small change – you feel more empowered to make bigger changes. Change creates a domino affect. You start to feel unstoppable – and as a result your whole life starts to feel improvable.
