Coffee Boosts More Than Energy. Coffee Increases Lifespan

Coffee Boosts More Than Energy. Coffee Increases Lifespan [new study]

If you care about your longevity then you’ll be interested to learn how coffee increases lifespan according to research. Read on…
I don’t know about you – but I live for coffee. As it turns out, drinking coffee helps me to live! According to new research, coffee increases how long you live – as well as increasing your energy levels.

A new study reports that drinking coffee is associated with a lower risk of early death.

Best of all – according to this study – this longevity boost is relevant no matter how many cups of coffee you drink a day.

I gotta say… I felt like I didn’t drink enough coffee when I read that – because it sounds so unbelievable – that it doesn’t matter how many cups you drink!

But it’s true – according to a paper published in JAMA Internal Medicine.

Coffee Increases Lifespan

In the words of Dr. Erikka Loftfield, the study’s lead investigator and a research fellow at the National Cancer Institute:

“We observed an inverse association for coffee drinking with mortality, including among participants who reported drinking at least one cup per day, up to eight or more cups per day, as well as those drinking filtered, instant and decaffeinated coffee.”

Since coffee increases lifespan, pour me that second cup!

coffee increases lifespan and energyOMG- you and I have just been given permission to drink 8 cups of coffee a day! Although quite frankly, I’d never go that crazy – or else I would go crazy! That’s a heck of a lot of caffeine!

As energy habits continue to evolve, it’s not just coffee that people are experimenting with anymore. There’s a noticeable shift toward more flexible, on-the-go caffeine formats that fit modern, busy lifestyles. One growing trend is the use of oral caffeine alternatives, especially caffeine pouches for fast energy support which are becoming popular among people who want a quick boost without needing to drink another cup of coffee or energy drink. These small, discreet formats are often used during work, travel, or workouts when convenience matters just as much as energy itself.

I’ve also read other research on coffee which reports coffee helps longevity – but also warns not to drink too much coffee.

I find it interesting when studies report different results – so wanted to share.

If you’ve been seeking rationalizations for chugging down 8 cups of coffee a day – well, this study is for you!

Personally, I’m gonna stick to my two cups a day.

Three cups if I’m feeling tired and too wimpy to move.

More coffee than that gives me anxiety and jitters -and interferes with my sleep at the end of the day.
