If you’re seeking inspiration, guidance, or comfort, for many people the Bible can offer an abundance of timeless wisdom.
It’s why many people choose to read this ancient scripture. They feel it can instill a sense of calm, fortitude, and willpower, helping you to navigate anything this world throws at you.
With this in mind, I’m sharing this blog post. Please know I’m not recommending any particular religion. I’m simply sharing some philosophies and insights and inspiration from the bible. I myself am more of a spiritual person, but not necessarily a religious person. However, I am a curious person. And so I love to read about everything: Eastern Philosophies, Ancient Greek philosophies, and every kind of religion that is out there.
Plus I love to write on a vast range of personal development subjects. In fact, I’m a bestselling personal development author on a range of subjects with about 2 million books sold globally.
And becaause I love to help people to live calmer, happier lives, I founded the therapist recommended video course called The Anxiety Cure.
With all that said, I thought I’d try something completely new and different on my blog… and delve into 12 inspirational Bible verses. Who knows… maybe you’ll find some divine guidance!

4. 2 Corinthians 4:16-18
“So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.”
This impactful passage from the Epistles of Paul offers deep insights into our human journey and spiritual growth. It inspires us to stay strong and not fall into despair, despite life’s trials and tribulations. While our physical selves bear the brunt of time and life’s hardships, our spiritual essence, our core, remains robust, continuously rejuvenated and bolstered by God’s grace.
