How often do you really have a good time? You might think it’s a lot, but when you look at the numbers and see how many hours you work, worry about life, and maybe even sleep, you’ll see that you’re not having as much fun as you might think or hope.
You might not be having as much fun as you should be. This is an important thing to remember: having fun and enjoying life is good for you.
So, just like you need to find time to work out and eat well, you also need to find time to have fun. Thinking that it’s easier said than done. Well, Im here to make sure it gets done!

With this in mind, keep reading to learn more about why it’s important to enjoy yourself and get tips to start putting your happiness first.
It’s time to enjoy yourself more! Here’s why and a little kick in the tush to nurture yourself.
When you’re having fun in a healthy way, like playing a sport, going out for the night with friends, cooking a great meal, searching out the most comfortable bras, or looking for something new to add to your collection, your body will release endorphins.
Endorphins in the blood tell the brain that you are happy, healthy, and everything is fine. When that happens, you’ll feel happier overall and know that all is right with the world. These neurotransmitters are important if you want to have a more positive outlook, and making time to do something fun will help them send the brain the right messages more often.
When we’re busy, it’s easy to forget about friends and family. This is one reason why we don’t always find time to enjoy ourselves, even though we should. Most of the time, it’s not on purpose, but it still happens without us noticing.
When you take the time to have fun and enjoy yourself, you can also take the time to spend time with the people you care about and grow closer to them. This will make the experience even better, and it will give you a great memory as well as make you happier and healthier in the moment.
Even though there’s nothing wrong with being busy, and many people would say it’s better to be busy than bored, there needs to be a balance. This is why there is something called “work-life balance.” The idea behind it is that people need to work to make a living, but they also need to make sure they live their lives.
Stress can happen if you’re always busy or if you’re too busy and never take the breaks or time off that would help you. If you don’t take time to relax for too long, stress can build up and become chronic. When that happens, your body and brain never get a chance to rest, which means they never get a chance to heal from physical and mental injuries. You’ll have too much cortisol, which is the stress hormone, and not enough serotonin, which is the happy hormone. By giving yourself time to do things you enjoy, you can lower your stress and relax more, which is good for you.
