If it’s your first time attending, make sure you inquire about the dress code beforehand. Most congregations list their contact information for concerns, and you can check their website or give them a call before the service. If you know anyone, ask them how they dress for worship services. They can fill you in in case you need a veil, shawl, or hat for head covering or if there are specific dress codes for occasions such as baptisms, weddings, or memorial services.
