What is business coaching and when and why do you need it? Read on for a full explanation of the benefits of getting coaching.
Starting and running a successful business is hard work. Each stage of a business’s life needs different strategies, resources, and approaches.
Every business owner or manager has to make decisions to make sure all these things work together. Because of the enormity of the decisions that have to be made, the need for someone to provide a second option can arise.
That person will likely be a business coach who will not only help you align your business better, but also help you become a better manager or owner.
And that’s where I come in!
I’m a nationally recognized business coach for individuals, entrepreneurs and executives at companies big and small. I can also help you to improve your team’s performance… while maximizing your potential.
What Is Business Coaching?
A business coach is a consultant who provides a business owner or a manager with an outsider’s perspective of their business.
In my case, I’m usually brought in as a personal helper in a range of areas. My goal is to give you the tools that you need to become a better manager, find career fulfillment, or help you find out what is important to you, your business and your team.
In short, depending on your business, I can serve as your life coach, a mentor, a psychological expert, a business consultant or someone to simply talk to.
No matter what relationship you want me to serve as your business coach, my main goal is to help you to maximize your business and personal potential.

Some managers need business coaching in the early stages. Here, they need a business coach who will help them get their businesses off the ground.
Other business owners need business coaches after the initial growth phase passes. In this case, they need the business coach to help them improve and streamline operations so they can keep growing.
Some managers will hire a business coach so that the coach can help them become better managers.
Quick Summary of How My Business Coaching Helps Brands, Authors and Entreprenuers
The Process
I always start with what I call “An Audit and Inventory.” It’s a 3 hour process – which is a little like a therapy session and a lot like a full deep dive into your business, talent, mission, project review.
A business coach starts by helping you look around and take stock of where you are. They will then lead you through the process of formulating a plan that will help you find out what you need to achieve in your business or personal life and ways to get there.
1. Provide Perspective
A major reason why people hire a business coach is that they have a nagging feeling that something is not right with their business. Some of the areas you might feel stuck on include deciding which projects and ideas to pursue and how to get unstuck and achieve the success you crave.
A business coach will start by learning everything about you and your business to see where these feelings are coming from.
By doing this, they will be in a better position to explain what you are doing right and wrong and why it is not working.
Next, they will help you define and understand what success means to you in the context of your business and life. At the end of this process, they will help you realize why you and your business are misaligned and the steps you need to take to get rid of those nagging feelings you have by making everything work as it should.
2. Help You Establish Goals and Vision
As a business coach, I look at both you and the business from a customer’s, manager’s, and business owner’s perspective.
By doing this, I will find out if you are achieving the goals you have set out for your business.
If you are not, I will either help you work towards achieving your goals or formulating new, attainable goals.
I will help you set are very different from the ones you set for your business. For the business, you might set goals where you need to hit certain numbers or attain other symbols of success.
For a business coach, the goals you set have to align with your values, and achieving them provides more than an arbitrary symbol of success.
As a business coach, I help you discover the hidden motivations that are pushing you to want to succeed. These can include your love for the business, growing the business into a multi-million business, helping others or building wealth.
It is these motivations that provide the “why” for running the business and wanting to be successful. Understanding them lets you establish your vision first and then the goals that align with this vision second.
Throughout this process, my goal as your business coach is to collect invaluable insights into who you are and how you operate. This way, I will have the right advice and answers for you when you need them.
3. Help You Deal with Your Strengths and Weaknesses
Even with the right vision and goals in mind, you can end up achieving none of it if you do not have a clear understanding of your strengths and weaknesses.
As a business coach I can help you amplify the effects of your strengths in your business’s success and help you find ways to work with your weaknesses, so they do not drag you down.
I help you see all this, including the parts you ignore, would not like to see, or that you would never acknowledge exist.
4. Offers Accountability
As a business coach, I help you realize that your success and that of your business are the sum total of your actions. I’ll help you be accountable for everything you do. In addition, as a business coache I also act as your accountability partner. This way, I make sure you keep moving in the right direction and correct the course when you start to veer off.
By being there for you, as a business coach I can help you recover from setbacks, stay motivated, and celebrate successes.
