Have you ever noticed how fear and excitement feel a lot the same?
Each speeds breathing and gives an adrenalin rush. That’s because fear is not meant to stop us. Fear is here as nature’s caffeinated boost, to help give us extra awareness and energy to do what we gotta do.
Since I figured this out, I rename “scary situations” as “exciting situations.” And I no longer view myself as fearful, but in extra energy mode to do what I gotta do at my highest level.
