What have you and give away is what you get back.     Fear of commitment: it could happen to you...or someone you can't love.     Saying difficult things now is better than fixing even more difficult problems later.     It is better to have loved and lost - than to live with a psycho for the rest of your life.     It is better to have loved and lost - and had some really amazing hot sex - than never to have lived and loved at all.     A man is not a project. A man is a man. And a project is a project.     It's better to have a short bad relationship than a long bad relationship.     It's worth it to hold out for a soul mate and not settle for a cellmate.     Assess breeds success.     Turn all bad experiences into good inperiences - take them in fully, and change in a positive way.

CAREER TIP: Don’t sell beef tenderloin to a vegan store.


It doesn’t matter how good your beef tenderloin is. Don’t try to sell it to a vegan store. In other words... when looking for the right client, consumer, distribution market, promotional venue ….always narrow-focus to only those who “get” you. In summary: Don’t go looking for love in all the wrong places. You’ll waste time and money and get your heart broken.

CAREER TIP: DON'T GIVE 100%*


* ACTUALLY...what I mean by this is...in this competitive market place, give 100% and you get an okay career. If you want a truly great career you gotta give 150%. ALWAYS give more than what the client/market expects. In summary: Get known in your industry as the 150% person!

BLOG EXPERIMENT! IT'S LIVE!


IS ANY BODY OUT THERE? IF SO...SAY HI! TODAY'S HAPPINESS TIP TO GET THE CONVERSATION GOING::COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS AND WATCH YOUR HAPPINESS MULTIPLY! There's an old Persian saying, "I cried because I had no shoes…then I met a man who had no feet." Well the same holds true today in America. All too often we can get bummed because we don't have the designer clothes we see on celebrities…then we realize …we don't have the bodies seen on celebrities either… and we get even more bummed. Wait. No. That wasn't my point. The lesson to be learned: count your blessings and reap more happiness. Indeed, statistics show that blessing counting is a major happiness aid. In a study done at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (1979) women were asked to view vivid depictions of the gruesome poverty and suffering in Milwaukee in the 1900’s, then write about imagined personal tragedies, such as being burned and disfigured. After doing so, these women expressed "greater satisfaction" with their lives. Similarly, when people diagnosed as “mildly depressed” were asked to read about people even more depressed, they all felt somewhat better (Gibbons, 1986). So remember: gratitude is a powerful panacea. QUESTION: Do you think this is why people crave bad news about celebs and weird murder cases and can't get anough of trashy reality shows...?
