What have you and give away is what you get back.     Fear of commitment: it could happen to you...or someone you can't love.     Saying difficult things now is better than fixing even more difficult problems later.     It is better to have loved and lost - than to live with a psycho for the rest of your life.     It is better to have loved and lost - and had some really amazing hot sex - than never to have lived and loved at all.     A man is not a project. A man is a man. And a project is a project.     It's better to have a short bad relationship than a long bad relationship.     It's worth it to hold out for a soul mate and not settle for a cellmate.     Assess breeds success.     Turn all bad experiences into good inperiences - take them in fully, and change in a positive way.

Interesting relationship factoid...

John Gottman, famed marriage researcher, discovoered that couples who remain married vs. divorced often experienced just as much conflict -- but put in more "repair."

In other words, couples who emained married were nicer to each other with a 5 to 1 ratio of nice to nasty moments.

Or as Dr. Gottman himself said: "Satisfied couples maintained a five-to-one ratio of positive to negative moments in their relationship, whereas couples heading for divorce allowed that ratio to slip below...to often one-to-one."

So if you're having problems with your honey, add a little more honey to that love ointment today! Give a hug. Toss a compliment. Send a silly email. Plan a fun night out -- or an even funner night in. Put in the "repair," and get your nice-to-nasty ratio going in the RIGHT direction!
